Beta Sigma Psi National Fraternity

The National Fraternity consists of the active chapters, the alumni chapters, and the National Board. The National Fraternity maintains records, aids in communication and cooperation amongst chapters, organizes national events, presents awards, and (in the form of the National Council) acts as the governing body of Beta Sigma Psi National Lutheran Fraternity.

The National Fraternity of of Beta Sigma Psi is a distinctive fraternity in one important respect. It is founded upon the bedrock of true Christian faith. This fact is responsible for its uniqueness of purpose and program; it increases the utility and potential of the fraternity idea. What is this "fraternity idea?" It is the notion that we can bind together as brothers men from different areas and of different times.

A study of the early records and recollections of our organization leads to the conclusion that the Founders of Beta Sigma Psi wanted to create in our local chapter houses an environment to develop the noblest character in modern society: a cultured Christian gentleman. This is still our goal, and the greatest thing that can happen to Beta Sigma Psi is constant rededication to the ideals and goals of its Founders. That will assure its future growth and power for good in American society.
